Gays support Trump

Breitbart Editor Milo Yiannopoulos has been one of the staunchest supporters of President-elect Donald Trump since the beginning of all this. The gay community has just awarded Milo “Person of the Year.” I would say Milo has more than earned that title. He has been tireless in speaking out for conservative values and in support of Trump. He’s absolutely fearless when speaking in front of some of these asshats and in turn, bigots.

Many in the gay community truly fear and hate Trump and I don’t understand why. He has never stood against them and in fact has supported a number of issues that they do. Milo didn’t buy into that and is incredibly popular out there with a huge social media presence. Milo’s upcoming book “Dangerous” has just hit #1 on Amazon’s bestsellers list. He has received $250,000 up front for the book and it is going to be a massive hit.

Feds preparing to drop warnings on cholesterol
By Thomas Lifson

I guess the settled science on cholesterol, and all the dietary the advice premised on it, is not so settled. I can’t be sure, but I suspect that at least 97% of scientists a few years ago would have endorsed limiting cholesterol intake.  But as all real scientists know, all previous scientific conclusions are subject to revision if new data comes in.
Thus, we learn via Peter Whoriskey in the Washington Post:
The nation’s top nutrition advisory panel has decided to drop its caution about eating cholesterol-laden food, a move that could undo almost 40 years of government warnings about its consumption.

A city runs by liberals

Written by chuck on December 30, 2016 – 6:00 am -

Tori Richards Fox News

San Francisco grapples with growing crime, blight after years of liberal policies!

SFrancisco is earning a growing reputation for more than just its unmatched tech sector – for critics, the city stands as a profound example of the damage ultra-liberal policies can do.

After 20 years of envelope-pushing changes to grow government and ease law enforcement, the once-shining City by the Bay has turned into a place where:
Property crime runs amok.

An online map is needed to track human feces on city streets
Discarded syringes are common sightings

Public urination is so widespread it has damaged subway elevators and escalators, building walls and power poles

A Wake-Up Call About the Calories in Coffee

Written by chuck on December 20, 2016 – 6:00 am -

Chances are, you’ll indulge in some special—and high-calorie—foods this holiday season. You probably don’t think of the coffee you sip at the end of your meal as one of those fattening treats. But maybe you should.

Though it has some health benefits, there can be quite a few calories in coffee—even if you skip the flavored drinks at coffee shops. Two cups, each with 2 ounces of cream and 2 teaspoons of sugar, contain about 300 calories and 24 grams of fat—about the same number of calories and twice the fat of a slice of pumpkin pie.

short of amazing. Trump has enjoyed success in at least 11 very different enterprises: Professional football, ice skating rinks, fragrance, ice, steaks, wines, model management, airline, blenders, men’s wear, bicycle races, world class beauty contests, and many others. The Political Trump:
about 1967 – 1987 – Democrat (he was a supporter of Ronald Reagan)
1987 – 1999 – Republican
1999 – 2001 – Reform Party (he supported Ross Perot)
2001 – 2009 – Democrat
2009 – 2011 – Republican
2011 – 2012 – Independent
2012 – Present – Republican

Donald Trump was openly supportive of Mitt Romney’s candidacy.

Donald Trump does not seem to hold political party organizations in high regard.
For the most part, his political involvement has been for practical reasons.
Donald Trump does not appear to be held to political ideology.

Some of take aways:

* Trump has an extraordinarily energetic central nervous system much like Teddy Roosevelt but more targeted to industry and enterprise.
* Trump’s presidency will be very energetic, transparent, and communicative.
* Trump will be a very hard working President.
* His interaction with his older brother (who everybody loved) tells me that he thinks that everybody is like him – or wants to be – or should be.
* His relationship with his older brother was a hard lesson in tolerance for him.

* Trump is the Babe Ruth of career achievements.
* He is dumb like a fox. When you think he just said something stupid – he didn’t. It’s
just that you were not his target audience.
* Trump knows the people – the folk.
* His son, Donald Jr. is right. Trump is a “Blue Collar Billionaire”.
* More than anything, his TV show, The Apprentice, was his passion.
He wants all Americans to have confidence (like he does) to venture.

* Donald Trump is attracted to and marries smart, high achieving women.
* The highest levels of a Trump Administration is certain to have many women – and they will be bright and assertive.

* Donald Trump’s children are very important to him. And it shows.

PS: And we know almost nothing about our current president with 2 terms in office.

Deadly Fire

Written by chuck on December 5, 2016 – 9:19 am -

At least nine people died when a fire tore through a warehouse in Northern California during a rave party and officials fear the death toll from the tragedy could rise to 40.

So far, nine bodies have been recovered from the site, which is not considered a “crime scene.” Alameda County Sheriff’s Sgt. Ray Kelly said Saturday the bodies have been taken to the coroner’s office to be identified.

Kelly says there are more bodies trapped in the debris that are hard to reach and need to be “cut from the wreckage.”

He says excavators, a crane and dumpster trucks are being brought in to help in the recovery and the building is being flooded with light to allow crews to work through the night.
