ALL Of A Sudden….Seven Short Years Have Passed!

ALL Of A Sudden….Seven Short Years Have Passed!

Before Obama there was virtually no outlandish presence of Islam in America.

• All of a sudden, Islam is taught in schools. Christianity and the bible are banned in schools.

• All of a sudden we must allow prayer rugs everywhere and allow for Islamic prayer in schools, airports and businesses.

• All of a sudden we must stop serving pork in prisons.

• All of a sudden we are inundated with law suits by Muslims who are offended by American culture.

• All of a sudden we must allow burkas to be worn everywhere even though you have no idea who or what is covered up under them.

• All of a sudden Muslims are suing employers and refusing to do their jobs if they personally deem it conflicts with Sharia Law.

• All of a sudden the Attorney General of the United States vows to prosecute anyone who engages in “anti-Muslim speech”.

• All of a sudden, Jihadists who engage in terrorism and openly admit they acted in the name of Islam and ISIS, are emphatically declared they are NOT Islamic by our leaders and/or their actions are determined NOT to be terrorism, but other nebulous terms like ‘workplace violence.”

• All of a sudden, it becomes Policy that Secular Middle East dictators that were benign or friendly to the West, must be replaced by Islamists and the Muslim Brotherhood.

• All of a sudden our troops are withdrawn from Iraq and the middle east, giving rise to ISIS.

• All of a sudden, America has reduced its nuclear stockpiles to 1950 levels, as Obama’s stated goal of a nuke-free America by the time he leaves office continues uninterrupted.

• All of a sudden, a deal with Iran must be made at any cost, with a pathway to nuclear weapons and HUNDREDS of BILLIONS of dollars handed over to fund their programs.

• All of a sudden America APOLOGIZES to Muslim states and sponsors of terror worldwide for acts of aggression, war and sabotage THEY perpetrate against our soldiers.

• All of a sudden, the American Navy is diminished to 1917 Pre-World War I levels of only 300 ships. The Army is at pre-1940 levels. The Air Force scraps 500 planes and planned to retire the use of the A-10 Thunderbolt close air support fighter. A further draw down of another 40,000 military personnel is in

• All of a sudden half of our aircraft carriers are recalled for maintenance by Obama rendering the Atlantic unguarded, NONE are in the Middle East.

• All of a sudden Obama has to empty Guantanamo Bay of captured Jihadists and let them loose in Jihad-friendly Islamic states. He demands to close the facility.

• All of a sudden America will negotiate with terrorists and trade FIVE Taliban commanders for a deserter and Jihad sympathizer.

• All of a sudden there is no money for American poor, disabled veterans, jobless Americans, hungry Americans, or displaced Americans but there is endless money for Obama’s “Syrian refugee” resettlement programs.

• All of sudden there is an ammunition shortage in the USA.

• All of a sudden, the most important thing for Obama to do after a mass shooting by two Jihadists, is disarm American Citizens.

• All of a sudden, the President of the United States cannot attend the Christian Funerals of a Supreme Court Justice and a former First Lady because of previous (seemingly unimportant) commitments.

All of a sudden,
I’m sick to my stomach. I’m not sure the majority of Americans recognize the seriousness of the situation and how much “progress” has been made by Islam these last 7 years, a very brief time compared to a 75 year lifetime!

A blog reader had his letter printed in the paper.

Written by chuck on January 31, 2015 – 9:24 am -

I must say I agree with Curtis 100%

Dear Editor:

What is the big deal with the flap between Obama’s white house and the United States House of Representatives over Speaker of the House John Boehner’s invitation to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to address the House of Representatives this coming March?

The white house and Obama’s staff are complaining that they weren’t consulted beforehand, breached protocol, or were left in the dark, or any of a number of other silly complaints strike me as petty, ridiculous, and supercilious.

Also, Obama’s refusal, so far, to agree to meet with Prime Minister Netanyahu during his coming visit simply bespeaks of Obama’s Muslim sympathies and his inherent dislike of the Jewish people in general.

Jim Coleman message to Texas Governor Rick Perry

Written by chuck on August 15, 2014 – 8:15 am -

To; Hon. Rick Perry, Governor of Texas

A simple money making solution to deter illegal immigration.

As a retired electrical lineman, I have had experience working on live high voltage transmission lines. At 500,000 or even 750,000 volts it is impossible or at least very uncomfortable to stand on the ground any closer than 15 or 20 feet of these high voltage conductors.

California needs electricity. Texas has oil. If you sponsored, with cooperation from New Mexico and Arizona, a 750KV transmission line from Texas to Southern California, and designed the structures to allow the conductors to hang to within 15′ to 20′ from the ground, you would provide jobs to construct/maintain this transmission circuit.

Southern California would benefit from this much needed electrical energy and the lower height of the transmission structures would lower the construction cost of the circuit. Of course a safety fence would be required to keep folks from walking too close to the high voltage circuit so Illegals would be hard pressed to walk under it.

Manned passage corridors would allow for the natural migration of animals as well as trade corridors between the two nations.
A win/win solution for all.

My Rant: Tornado outdoor warning sirens.

Written by chuck on April 26, 2014 – 8:22 am -

Written by Byran Falls
Studied EMS/EMT/Paramedic at Bevill State Community College

In this day and time people are still depending on outdoor warning sirens. To get tornado warnings the so called “siren mentality “This has got to STOP. People are dying because of this. I personally talked to some people after April 27th 2011. They said we did not hear the sirens.

These sirens are NOT designed for this function. Their use was for the “cold war era”. A typical siren has the range of about 1 to 1/2 miles at best. Unless you are close you will not hear them.

I am at the peak range from one and I cannot hear it inside. They are “outdoor” sirens. Plus these sirens run on Commercial Power. Meaning if the power is out there dead unless backup power is available. Also many if not all are radio controlled. Radio signals are funny things they get lost, dropped,or just plain vanish. A typical activation consist of the following.

1. Warning must be gotten

2. signals are transmitted manually in some or all cases form a radio console to “wake up” the siren.

3. the siren must “wake up” to fire the alert sound.
What happens when one of these steps are missed by human error or mechanical error.

What’s the fix you might ask.
A NOAA Weather radio from around 30 to 40 dollars max.

These radios will trigger a alarm when the warning is issued. Plus have a battery backup in case of power failure.

Thank you

OLS reader request, please write YOUR Senator.

Written by chuck on April 7, 2013 – 8:42 am -

This is the message I sent to my Senator, if you agree please do the same with yours.

The Honorable Marco Rubio
United States Senate
317 Hart Senate Office Building
Washington, DC 20510-0903
Re: U.N. Arms Trade Treaty

Dear Senator Rubio:
Once again the United Nations is working on passing THE UNITED NATIONS ARMS TRADE TREATY. If passed it will not become binding on the United States unless ratified by the U.S. Senate. Many of the gun lobbies, for and against, are ramping up to plead their cases. However, if we look at this from the right prospective it is apparent that gun control is actually a secondary issue.

The U.N. Arms Trade Treaty is no more about guns than Obama Care is about health care, they are both about control. If our senate ratifies this we will be giving away to a foreign entity the power over our laws and way of life.

Many times in the past, even when we agree with the issue, we have not ratified U.N. Treaties when it would infringe on our right to govern ourselves. Many of the American general public is not aware we did not sign off on many portions of the Geneva Convention, we did not sign off on many of the U.N. Treaties involving land mines and use of chemical weapons. Why, because we would not give away our right to govern ourselves. Some of these issues we agree with, but will not stand for a foreign government or organization dictating our laws.

This U.N. Arms Trade Treaty should be also treated for what it is, a chance to gain control over the United States.

Nashua NH readers…..

Written by chuck on August 12, 2012 – 7:12 am -

The note below is from a long time blog reader for friends that liver near Nashua NH.

My grandmother is passing soon with cancer. I visited her the other day and she was telling me about how she really wanted soup, but not hospital soup because she said it tasted “awful” she went on about how she really would like some clam chowder from Panera. Unfortunately Panera only sells clam chowder on Friday. I called the manager Sue and told them the situation. I wasn’t looking for anything special just a bowl of clam chowder. Without hesitation she said absolutely she would make her some clam chowder. When i went to pick it up they wound up giving me a box of cookies as well. Its not that big of a deal to most, but to my grandma it meant a lot. I really want to thank Sue and the rest of the staff from Panera in Nashua NH just for making my grandmother happy. Thank you so much!
