Stunning numbers want Congress to probe Obama’s eligibility

Written by Ed on June 30, 2011 – 11:12 pm -

Half of Americans would like to see Congress investigate Barack Obama’s eligibility for the presidency and nearly that many believe the definition of the constitutional term “natural born citizen” means both parents must be U.S. citizens, according to a new scientific poll.

“There’s no marginalizing those who want this matter investigated by Congress,” said Fritz Wenzel of Wenzel Strategies, who conducted the WND/Wenzel Poll telephone survey June 16-19. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.85 points.

“Even among Democrats, more than one in four – 28 percent – said they now want an inquiry, as do 43 percent of independents and 77 percent of Republicans. Interestingly, men are much more skeptical than are women about the question of eligibility – only 42 percent of men said they think Obama proved his eligibility by releasing the electronic birth certificate, compared to 59 percent of women.”

Glenn Beck vs. the mob

Written by Ed on June 30, 2011 – 11:00 pm -

Of all the details surrounding the liberal mob attack on Glenn Beck and his family in New York’s Bryant Park last Monday night, one element stands out. “No, it won’t be like that, Dad,” his daughter said when Beck questioned the wisdom of attending a free, outdoor movie showing in a New York park.

People who have never been set upon by a mob of liberals have absolutely no idea what it’s like to be a publicly recognizable conservative. Even your friends will constantly be telling you: “Oh, it will be fine. Don’t worry. Nothing will happen. This place isn’t like that.”

Liberals are not like most Americans. They are the biggest p—ies on Earth, city-bred weaklings who didn’t play a sport and have never been in a fight in their entire lives. Their mothers made excuses for them when they threw tantrums and spent way too much time praising them during toilet training.

I could draw a mug shot of every one of Beck’s tormentors, and I wasn’t there.

Beck and his family would have been fine at an outdoor rap concert. They would have been fine at a sporting event. They would have been fine at any paid event, mostly because people who work for the government and live in rent-controlled apartments would be too cheap to attend.

Americans believe Obama destroying their freedoms

Written by Ed on June 28, 2011 – 11:00 pm -

The WND Freedom Index has taken a nosedive, with more than two in three Americans – including significant numbers of Democrats – expressing alarm that Barack Obama’s tenure in office is costing them their freedoms, and pollster Fritz Wenzel says it might be too late for him recover in time for the 2012 election.

Noting that the Freedom Index plunged to 45.9, its lowest mark in the two years it’s been monitored, Wenzel of Wenzel Strategies said:

“It will be very difficult to dramatically improve these now negative perceptions that Americans hold toward their government because with every downward movement in this index, people lose just a little more trust in their government. It is hard to see anything on the horizon that government leaders – especially President Obama – can use to rebuild that bond

Look who’s launching anti-tea-party group

Written by Ed on June 28, 2011 – 11:00 pm -

A new movement led by communist revolutionary group founder Van Jones seeks to counter the tea party while petitioning for a progressive agenda that includes “making Wall Street and the super-rich pay their fair share.”

The organization, dubbed “The American Dream Movement,” is partnered with a slew of radical groups funded by billionaire George Soros.

As WND first reported, the movement was introduced using subversive tactics, particularly a hoax Youtube video in which it appeared the ticker outside News Corporation’s Manhattan headquarters had been hacked and reprogrammed with an anti-Fox News script calling for revolution.

Obama slips DREAM Act amnesty past Congress

Written by Ed on June 27, 2011 – 11:00 pm -

A new enforcement memo handed down by the director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement last week has some accusing the White House of running around Congress to implement the DREAM Act – and consequent amnesty for some illegal immigrants – by executive fiat.

The new memo, penned by ICE Director John Morton, directs ICE agents, attorneys and directors to exercise “prosecutorial discretion” – meaning less likelihood of deportation – for illegal aliens who have been students in the U.S., who have been in the country since childhood or who have served in the American military.

Critics have pointed out the new leniency standards parallel the provisions of the Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors Act, or DREAM Act, which could not pass the Senate, despite several votes over the past decade, including three failed attempts at passage last year.
