Powerful Woman’s Motto:

Live your life in such a way that when your feet hit the floor in the morning, Satan shudders & says… ‘Oh shit….she’s awake!!’

Would you like me to call the funeral home now?

Voting should be in only one language

It doesn’t matter, though. Something tells me that if these folks don’t know a single word in English, they know the word “Obama” and how to color in the oval next to his name.

How you can put in your 2¢ worth

Written by Ed on August 27, 2008 – 11:00 pm -

Have you noticed that you can put a $ sign in your text but not a ¢ sign? Would you like to? You need to use character map! For those odd symbols that you don’t find on your keyboard, do the following: Click Start | All Programs | Accessories | System Tools and select Character Map. This opens up the character map for the font you’re currently using. Look through the symbols until you find the cents sign (¢) and click it. You can either select and copy it here, or note the keystroke combination that can be used for it (in this case, ALT + 0162). If you use it a lot, just memorize the key combo. If you find yourself looking up symbols in Character Map often, put a shortcut to it on the desktop or quick launch bar. Now you can always put in your 2¢ worth!

2. Right click the toolbar, then click Customize.
3. In the Customize Toolbar dialog box, scroll down to Map Drive in the list of Available Toolbar Buttons in the left pane and highlight it.
4. Click the Add button.
5. In the left pane, highlight Disconnect.
6. Click the Add button.
7. Click the Close button.
Now the new buttons appear on your toolbar. To map a drive, click the Map Drive button and navigate to the drive you want to map.
